I graduated from Middle East Technical University, urban planning department. Just after graduation, I started to work as a dancer in Sultans of the Dance project. Since then I had 23 years of experience on performance arts and live entertainment productions on big scale stage shows as a dancer, choreographer, manager, producer, consultant and lately family entertainment musical productions like Disney Live, Madagasacar Live as an artistic director. You can see more details about my stage works in performance arts and shows section.  In the meantime after my masters degree in modern dance I finished PhD courses on anthropology, through which I gained an extensive research practice and understanding. Apart from the academic aspects, I have a special love for the personal life stories, especially in subjectivity and self-reflexivity, which became the main axis of my thesis research. I believe human interaction and our perception is the core what brings out our stories collectively. I started to make artworks since 2020 and had my first exhibition in Istanbul. I am still searching what to do more in that field. It is an ongoing process. Please enjoy them in the artworks section. So, after stage works and anthropology, how did I get in to UX design? I was managing a technology startup and during that period, I developed an interest in UX/UI design processes because I believe it brings together my design education with anthropological research scope and artistic skills and started practicing it. I studied for Google UX Design Professional Certificate. I feel like UX design is the field that brings what I have accomplished and done in life together.  As you can imagine, I can describe myself as a continuous learner & searcher, eager for development and explorer of new things. My strengths are I am patient, empathetical, analytical and creative. My basic passion is creativity. Whether it is in a creative industry or in other ones that I have worked for, I always sought how to implement creativity into even simple daily operations. Sometimes you manage to do so, sometimes you can't, but it is always there!
